-And there was that giant warrior! Rallick? Cousin, are you listening?!
-Zzz…
It doesn’t happen, but I wanted to draw Rallick and Torvald on one picture. :)

Another Blog

I just wanted to say that I made another Blog: http://makethoughtscomplicated.tumblr.com/

So, this older Blog will be just for my drawings, while the other will be for posts about everything else, like the things I read, the things I would like to reblog and such.

Torvald Nom sketch.

Torvald Nom sketch.

I have started to read the ‘House of Chains’.

So far, I can say that Torvald Nom is my favorite (new) character of this book. I imagine him with a slight nasal voice and with a pointy nose.

‘I am going home forever and ever more No I was never born and there’s no such thing as home We used to stand so strong’
Song: Biffy Clyro: Different People
Character: Whiskeyjack

Yesterday, I finished reading the Memories of Ice.

God, this book. The last ~10% caused an emotional turmoil.

Mainly Whiskeyjack and Itkovian. But Toc and Onos T’oolan are not so behind.

fuckyeahmalazans replied to your post: I have read about 70% of the Memories of Ice.

Tool and Toc??? Say something about them too! They are great!

Oh them!

Toc: he breaks my heart as well as Itkovian and Mallet, just in a more complicated way. First, he was funny with his ‘I can’t shut my mouth’ way, but now, I am just ‘Why Toc, why?’ .

Tool? Oh, Tool, he and Toc were interesting as a companion. Oh, and I almost forget that Tool could as well be heartbreaking, thinking about that meeting with Kilava. And with the Seguleh, I was just ‘Oh, Tool you just can’t sit on your backside, can you?’ :D

I think all these characters are lovable in their different way.

ilenn replied to your post: I have read about 70% of the Memories of Ice. And…

I absolutely adore the friendship between WJ and Rake. And QB is made of pure awesome. “Okay, the goat thing stinks of desperation.” XD

:D And his visit to Bauchelain. He is not afraid to do things no matter what if it is necessary.

I have read about 70% of the Memories of Ice.

And I still think that the characters are great.

  • Quick Ben made me amazed. This man is pure ‘because I can’ attitude.
  • Mallet and Itkovian broke my heart.
  • Murillio and Coll made me giggle.
  • Caladan Brood made me feel respect for him.
  • Whiskeyjack and Rake - I like their conversations.
  • Paran made me sad but I like his stubbornness against anybody who wants to manipulate him.

And I could continue.

Sometimes I just put down the book and think ‘Oh God, how I like them.’.

Silly Mappo sketchy thing.
